Harold Ringer

James Harold Ringer, 81, of Pomaria, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at his residence.

Born on May 2, 1929, in Pomaria, he was a son of the late John Julius and Bertha Amick Ringer. Mr. Ringer was retired from the South Carolina Highway Department and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by a brother, Jack (Sarah) Ringer of Lexington and nieces, Sandra (Freddie) Hayes and Rene Ringer. Mr. Ringer was predeceased by his wife of over 50 years, Martha Alewine Ringer and a brother, George Samuel Ringer.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Fred Suhr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund, PO Box 186, Little Mountain, SC 29075.
