Helen Singley Bundrick, 96, formerly of Pomaria and more recently of Whitmire, went to live with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 21, 2015.
Born on March 20, 1919, in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of the late George David and Louise Ellisor Singley. She was married to the love of her life, the late Cecil Abner Bundrick, Sr. for 64 years. Helen was the oldest living member of Pomaria Lutheran Church. She was affectionately known by her grandkids, great-grandkids and great-great-grands as Memie.
She is survived by her sons, Cecil A. Bundrick, Jr. of Pomaria and Donnie (Marilyn) Bundrick of Whitmire; grandchildren, Ronnie (Lisa) Bundrick of Whitmire and Tammy Bundrick (Stephen) Bonds of Clinton; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew (Samantha) Erwin, Marie and Megyn Bonds all of Clinton, Jase, Lacey, Tiffany and Angie Ihler of Washington State; four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bundrick was predeceased by her siblings, Thomas Singley, George Singley, Sarah Smith and Nell Brown, a granddaughter, Elaine Bundrick Ihler and a loving daughter-in-law, Ute Bundrick.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at Pomaria Lutheran Church by the Rev. Derald Edwards. Burial will follow in Pomaria Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Pomaria Lutheran Church, PO Box 246, Pomaria, SC 29126.
Active pallbearers will be Andrew Erwin, Ethan Boulware, Danny Southerland, Shannon Southerland, Ray Southerland and Gary Crase.
