Henrietta Perry Cromer Park, 88, of Saluda, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 6, 1923, in Saluda, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Rhoda Lee Perry. She was a graduate of Hollywood High School, worked for the Saluda Shirt Plant, Saluda Hosiery Mill and the Saluda County Library. Mrs. Park was a life-long member of Bethany United Methodist Church and served as treasurer of the UMW and church cemetery fund for many years.

She is survived by a niece, Millie Price Livingston and husband, Phil of Newberry; a nephew, G. Milton Price and wife, Norma of Newberry; great-nieces, Amanda Leigh Price of Columbia, Melissa Price Brice and husband, Michael of Irmo, great-great-nephews, Judson, Walker and Charlie Brice; sisters-in-law, Sophie P. Coleman of Blair and Virginia Dixon of Great Falls. Mrs. Park was twice married, first to the late James J. Cromer and secondly to the late Arthur L. Park. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Bernice Perry (Grady) Price and S.B. Perry,

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Bethany United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Michael Written. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service and the family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 1146 Hickory Grove Road, Saluda, SC 29138 or to Saluda Nursing Center Residents Fund, PO Box 398, Saluda, SC 29138.

Active pallbearers will be Michael Brice, James Caldwell, Julian Caldwell, Oliver Rollins, Stephen Byrd and Todd Hipp.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy and Clara Riley, Members of the Fellowship Class and Women's Class of Bethany UMC, Gebie Forrest, Lorene Gentry, Dr. Ralph Riley, Molly Donnelly, and employees of the Saluda Nursing Center.

Mrs. Park loved God, her family, her church, and the Hollywood Community.
