Henry Berley

Henry James Berley, 59, of Pomaria, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at his residence.

Born on September 8, 1953, in Newberry County, he was the son of Patricia Suber Berley and the late Everett Berley. He owned and operated the 3-B Corner Convenience Store and was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.

Mr. Berley is survived in addition to his mother, Patricia Berley of Pomaria by his wife, Annette Sheely Berley; daughters, Alicia (Eric) Holbrook and Kristen (Chris) LaCons both of Pomaria; a sister, Marilyn (Jack) Skolds of Charlotte, NC; a brother, Andy (Dawn) Berley of Pomaria; grandchildren, Hannah and Grace Holbrook and Graham and Carter LaCons; nieces, Leigh Reddick and Anna Richardson and nephews, Chad Torri and Robert Cass.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 24, 2013, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church by the Rev. Mat Brewington. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2360 Mt. Pleasant Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.

Active pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Melvin Smith, J.B. Wicker, Rodney Cromer, Barry Glymph and J.C. Doolittle.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Smith, Bo Cromer, Tommy Griffin, Jack and Kathy Wilson and Tony Dudley.
