Herbert Samuel Fulmer III, 57, of Prosperity, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at his residence.
Born on February 8, 1958 in Newberry, he was the son of the late Herbert Samuel Fulmer, Jr. and Katherine Hawkins Fulmer. Mr. Fulmer was a 1981 graduate of Clemson University and was the owner of Clean Sweep Chimney Sweep. He was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church, the Fairview Fire Department and Station 19 - Lake Murray Rescue Squad. He was also a member of the Prosperity Wildlife Federation and was the past president and current vice president of the S.C. Chimney Sweep Guild.
Herb enjoyed anything involving the outdoors, had a passion for homemade contraptions and had a huge heart for everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mann Fulmer; a son, Jason Samuel Fulmer of Chapin; daughters, Ashley Fulmer (Evan) Ruff of Atlanta, GA and Carli Fulmer (Art) Rollins of Pendleton and a sister, Dottie Jean Fulmer of Prosperity.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Macedonia Lutheran Church by the Rev. Randall Derrick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family invites everyone to the church parish hall for a celebration of his life following the service. Memorials may be made to the Lake Murray Rescue Squad or to the Macedonia Lutheran Church Family Life Center, 49 Macedonia Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the SC Chimeny Sweep Guild and the Lake Murray Rescue Squad.
