Hulda Stuck Stoudemire, 85, of Pomaria, widow of Joseph Frank Stoudemire, died Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on April 18, 1925, in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late Jay and Iola Wicker Stuck. Mrs. Stoudemire was retired from GE of Irmo and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a son, Stuckey Joseph (Nancy) Stoudemire of Pomaria; brothers, Wyman Stuck of Pomaria and Marion Stuck of Chapin and a grandson, Ryan Joseph Stoudemire. She was predeceased a brother, Monroe Stuck.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at St. John’s Lutheran Church by the Rev. Kristy Buyok and Rev. Terry Amick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
