Inez Davis

Cora Inez “Nezi” Culclasure Davis, 93, died at her home on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. She was the wife of the late John Robert “Bill” Davis.

Born on September 30, 1917, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Lee Cora Rivers Culclasure. Mrs. Davis was a member of Summer Memorial Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Davis was predeceased by a beloved son, William Issac “Billy” Davis, sister, Louise Carver and brother, Emory Culclasure.

She is survived by grandchildren, Erin Davis, Kristen Davis, John Davis and Amber Lax; sisters, Bert Culclasure and Mary Crews; brothers, Dave Culclasure and Roger Culclasure; a dear friend, Narvis Willingham; beloved nieces and nephews, Diana, George and Adam Attaway of the home, Amber, Glen and Benjamin Lax of Black Mountain, NC that surrounded her with love, friendship and care and kept her wishes close in their hearts. They are so thankful the Lord blessed them with such a kind and gentle soul. Your home now – until we meet again, love always.

At the request of Mrs. Davis she will be cremated and no funeral service will be held.
