Jacqueline Kesler

Jacqueline Nadine “Jackie” Harrelson Kesler, 88, of Newberry, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at White Oak Manor. 

Born on December 8, 1936, in Joanna, she was the daughter of the late James and Alice Yarborough Harrelson. Jackie retired from J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home. She never met a stranger and always enjoyed meeting individuals who remembered her from her nursing days. The kind words that many gave to her for the attention that she had given their loved ones will always be cherished. She attended Cross Point Church.  

Jackie was a supportive and loving wife, mother and grandmother. 

She is survived by a son, John Wayne (Debbie) Kesler of Newberry; grandchildren, Christopher J. Spell, Kathryn E. Kesler and John Alexander Kesler. She was predeceased by a daughter, Belenda K. Spell. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Cross Point Church by the Rev. Jeff O'Dell. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
