James Sizemore III, 70, of Prosperity, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at his work shop.
Born on March 2, 1945, in Montgomery, AL, he was the son of the late James Sizemore, Jr. and Eunice Johnson Sizemore. He served in the S.C. National Guard and was a metal worker and farmer. He was a volunteer with DNR and was a member of Talatha Baptist Church in Aiken. Mr. Sizemore was known by many as the “Prosperity Frog Man”. He was a strong supporter of the American Cancer Society.
He is survived by his Kathi (McIver) and her son, Brandon McIver of Columbia; a sister, Judy Ostendorf of Greenville; nephew, Kevin (Jennifer) Clarke of Taylors; great-nieces, Katherine and Elizabeth Clarke. He is also survived by his cancer survivor “fighting family”.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648.
