James Melvin Wilson, 51, of Saluda, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
Born on July 7, 1962, in Prosperity, he was a son of the late Clyde and Essie Mae Blondell Sanford Wilson. He was an employee of Wilson Tractor and a former employee of Turner Towing.
He is survived by daughters, Candace Bouknight, Jodi Cockrell and Amy Cockrell; sisters, Mary June Pritchett, Martha Jean Bollick and Carolyn Stone; brothers, Jim Hardin Wilson, William Wilson and Clyde “Dick” Wilson; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery in Saluda. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Suite 301, Cayce, SC 29033.
