Janet Griffin

Janet Lynn Stuck Griffin, 65, of Newberry, widow of William Stephen Griffin, Sr., died Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at White Oak Manor.

Born on February 26, 1954 in Anniston, AL, she was a daughter of Betty Ruth Morris Stuck and the late Charles Ray Stuck. She was a former certified nursing assistant and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her mother, Betty Stuck of Newberry; sons, William S. (Sherri) Griffin, Jr. of Newberry and Charles Bradley (Tina) Griffin of Prosperity; a sister, Kay S. (Ricky) Smith of Pomaria; a brother, Danny (Ann) Stuck of Prosperity; grandchildren, Lauren Ruff, Peyton Ruff, Erin Fallaw and Haley Griffin and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Tina S. Bishop.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, April 15, 2019 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church by the Rev. Arden Hallman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 209 New Hope Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.
