Janet Macpherson

Janet Long Macpherson, 80, of Pomaria, died November 20, 2021 at her residence.

Born of February 10, 1941 in Tampa, FL, she was a daughter of the late Robert Ferdinand and Clara Loraine Gorman Long. She received a Business degree from the University of South Florida and an Engineering degree from U.C.L.A. She was a retired Construction Engineer.

She was a wonderful artist and enjoyed painting. She loved all animals especially her Himalayan cats.

She is survived by her sister, Ann Wicker and her husband Harold of Pomaria; nieces Annette Carter Briggs of Columbia and Gail Dorroh and husband Sammy of Newberry.

A celebration of her life will take place at a later time.
