J.D. Daniels

James David “J.D.” Daniels, 63, of Chapin, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Ascension Hospice.

Born on June 16, 1946 in Ohio, he was a son of the late Manford and Ethel Edna Brinzer Daniel. Mr. Daniels was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from Mack Truck, was the owner of Jim’s Auto Sales and of the Baptist faith. J.D. was an active member of many organizations and groups. He will be missed by many.

Surviving are his wife, Rae B. Dominick Daniels; step-sons, W.J. Dominick of Six Mile and Sammy S. Dominick of Pomaria; five step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2009 at McSwain-Evans Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Derald Edwards. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Pomaria Lutheran Church Building Fund, PO Box 246, Pomaria, SC 29126.
