Jean Plociennik

Marjorie Jean Hansen Plociennik, 94, of Prosperity, widow of Paul Anthony Plociennik, died Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 16, 1925, in Rockford, IL, she was a daughter of the late Hjalmar and Margaret Gustafson Hensen. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. In her earlier years she worked as an assistant manager of the Holiday Inn in Boca Raton, FL where her husband, George, was manager. In later years she was homemaker who was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, special aunt and friend to many. She will live in our hearts forever.

Mrs. Plociennik is survived by a son, John Wolf; a brother, Richard Hansen; several nieces and nephews and her canine companion, Max. She was predeceased by her first husband, George Wolf and by her second husband, Paul Plociennik who predeceased her by four days on November 29, 2020. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Susan Reason.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Grace Lutheran Church.
