Jeannette Fulmer

Jeannette Metts Fulmer, 88, of Prosperity, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at her home.

Born on April 13, 1935 in Silverstreet, she was a daughter of the late Colie Seber and Juanita Watts Metts. She retired from General Electric and Phillips Components.

Mrs. Fulmer is a life long member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church.  For a number of years she served as a Sunday School teacher and a youth advisor.

She married James B. ”J.B.” Fulmer in 1953.  They were married for 65 years before his death in 2019.

She is survived by a son, Johnny (Donna Jean) Fulmer of Little Mountain; daughters, Donna (David) Holley of Chapin and Jana (Stanley) Livingston of Prosperity.  She is also survived by a sister, Deborah Crider of Florence and a sister-in-law, Joyce Metts of Conway.  Her grandchildren are Neil (Kristy) Fulmer, Travis (April) Holley, Kim (Lee) Stoudemire, Laura (Andrew) Frick, Scott Livingston, Megan (Josh) Roland and great-grandchildren, Nathan Fulmer, Payton, Furman and Barrett Livingston, Hunter and Emma Grace Holley, Landon and Chloe Stoudemire, Caleb and Luke Roland, Caden and Olivia Frick. She also had several special nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Fulmer was predeceased by brothers, Colie Merle Metts and Larry Metts.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 13, 2023, at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church by the Rev. Rich Johnston.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Fellowship Hall.
