Jerry Wicker

Jerry Wicker, 67, of Fox Hunt Drive, North Augusta, entered into rest on Sunday, August 29, 2010.

Mr. Wicker was a native of Newberry County, SC, having made North Augusta his home for the past 45 years. He was retired from the Savannah River Site and was a member of Pine Ridge Country Club and Immanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Angela C. Wicker, a son and daughter-in-law, Lee M. and Clancie Wicker, North Augusta, SC; a daughter, Phyllis L. Wicker, Cayce, SC; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce W. and Kenneth Shealy, Newberry, SC; three grandchildren, Andrew Mayson, Hannah Mayson and Darren Mayson. Mr. Wicker was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret C. Wicker.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11o’clock from Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Coyle and Rev. Jamie Murphy officiating. Private family interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
