Jessie Kitchens

Jessie Graham Kitchens, 99, of Whitmire, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born October 29,1917 in Pomaria, she was the first born of the late Ernest O. Graham and Eunice Ringer Graham.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Berley O. Kitchens, son James Oliver Kitchens, 5 Sisters and 5 Brothers.

She is survived by  daughters, Brenda K. Blalock of Whitmire, Virginia (Sonny) Chapman of Leesville, Eunice (Eddie) Raines of Chapin; son, Thomas (Irma) Kitchens of FL; brother, Bobby (Shelia) Graham of TN; daughter-in-law, Margaret Kitchens and also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Mcswain-Evans Funeral Home in Newberry from 4:00 to 5:00 PM.  Funeral service will be Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at  Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Pomaria.  Memorials may be sent to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2360 Mt. Pleasant Road, Pomaria, SC 29126. The family will be at the home of Brenda Blalock, 55 Kitchens Drive, Whitmire, SC.
