Jo Ann Ellisor

Jo Ann Shealy Ellisor “Nannie” died Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Newberry Health surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of the late Francis Guy and Trannie Derrick Shealy.

Jo Ann was a faithful member of West End Baptist Church. She worked for Old School Manufacturing and Quality Stitching for 40 years.

Jo Ann loved going to auctions and collecting dishes. She had a green thumb, and loved working with plants and flowers.

She is survived by her son Todd Ellisor (Melissa Barbare) and daughter Kelli (Lane) Maness; granddaughters Chelsea (Ryan) Ellisor Whitlock and Katelyn (Steven James) Maness; siblings, Leon (Beverly) Shealy and Dorothy (Perry) Hobgood; brother-in-law Brent Asbill; sister-in-law Betty Jo Ellisor; special cousins, Terry and Louise Hawkins and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband David Ellisor; sisters Rachel Asbill and Frances Monts, brother Billy Shealy and brother-in-laws, J.A. Monts and Heyward Ellisor.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, April 14, 2025 at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Kevin Carter. The family will receive friends following the service.

Pallbearers will be Todd Ellisor, Lane Maness, Ryan Whitlock, Stacey Shealy, Clayton Ellisor, and Brian Hawkins.

Honorary pallbearers: Perry Hobgood, Leon Shealy, Brent Asbill, Terry Hawkins, Gary Taylor, and Alicia Rosemond.
