Joanne Nichols

Joanne H. Nichols, 57, of Prosperity, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at her residence.

Born on March 6, 1957, she was a daughter of Robert and Ruth Hamilton. She was a retired registered nurse. She loved nursing and also traveling.

Ms. Nichols is survived in addition to her parents by her beloved companion, David McCammon; a brother, Barry (Jackie) Hamilton; maternal grandmother, Savannah Sumner; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Ricky Hamilton.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Corinth Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the Corinth Lutheran Church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Gideons International, PO Box 795, Newberry, SC 29108.
