John "Jack" Baker, Jr.

John Ben "Jack" Baker, Jr., 76, of Peak, widower of Leah Baker, died Monday, August 15, 2016, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on October 12, 1939, in San Diego, CA, he was the son of the late John Ben Baker, Sr. and Harriett Webb Allen Baker. He was the retired Director of Human Resources for Whirlpool Corporation. Mr. Baker was an Army veteran and a member of Mt. Herm0n Lutheran Church.

He is survived by son, John Kevin (Janis) Baker of West Columbia and Daniel Scott Baker of Greenville; a sister, Anne Charlotte Smith of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Peri Marie Baker and Carli Jon Baker.

A private graveside service will be held.
