John "Pork Chop" Bunn

John Benjamin “Pork Chop” Bunn, Jr., 62, of Newberry, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on February 2, 1955, in Blytheville, AR, he was the son of the late J. B. Bunn, Sr. and Jean Quinn Bunn. He was a graduate of Gosnell High School of Blytheville, AR and enjoyed long haul trucking with his co-pilot “Charlie.” Mr. Bunn enjoyed gardening, cooking and visits from family and friends.

He is survived by his children, John B. Bunn III, Michelle B. Bedenbaugh and Jonathon E. Bunn; sisters, Sandra Fultz and Judy Anthony and eight grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 209 New Hope Road, Pomaria, SC 2916 or The Cat Clinic, 4039 Trenholm Road, Columbia, SC 29206.
