John Earle Smith, Jr.

John Earle Smith Jr., 90, of Kinards passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024. 

Born on October 5,1933, he was the son of John Earle Smith Sr. and Helen Clary Smith. 

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dannette Wise Smith, a son, William Bryan Smith (Donna Walsh Smith), and a grandson, Drew William Smith (Lauren Pace Smith). He was predeceased by a son, Steven Earle Smith, and an infant sister, Josephine Helen Smith. 

The service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Bush River Baptist Church, 8936 Bush River Road, Newberry. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to the Bush River Baptist Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
