Wayne Morris

John Wayne Morris, 67, of Prosperity, died Friday, November 16, 2018 at his residence.

Born on February 23, 1951 in Newberry, he was a son of the late Sam and Helen Franklin Morris. He was retired from Georgia Pacific and was a member of Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Boozer Morris; sons, Chad (Tammy) Morris of Pomaria and Andy (Michelle) Morris of Prosperity; a daughter, Becky (Donnie) Forbis of Newberry; a brother, Billy F. (Edith) Morris of Posperity; grandchildren, Sam Morris, Amanda Morris, Tripp Forbis, Aubree Forbis, Darian Morris, Melissa Morris and Benji Morris; sisters-in-law, Belle Morris and Nancy Morris; a brother-in-law, Jimmy (Margaret) Boozer and his canine companion, Sally. Mr. Morris was predeceased by brothers, Donald Morris and Charles Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church by the Rev. Floyd Sides. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church, 3074 Bachman Chapel Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bennett, Corey Brown, Mike Baldwin, Nick Morris, Yancy Floyd, Donnie Shealy, Leon Howard and Ed Nobles.
