Johnny R. Kunkle

Johnny Earlene Ruff Kunkle, 70, of Newberry, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on February 1, 1949 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late J.E. “Jack” and Juanita Minick Ruff. She was a 1970 graduate of Greenville Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and was retired after 40 years as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Kunkle is survived by her husband, Robert Keith Kunkle; a son, Robert Keitt (Beth Satterwhite) Kunkle of Newberry; a daughter, Barbara LaShea Kunkle of Irmo; grandchildren, Audrey Keller Kunkle and Robert Kole Kunkle. She was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Lynn Ruff.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, November 25, 2019 at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Jason Schafer.
