John Renne

John Lee “P-Nut” Renne, 59, of Chapin, passed away peacefully at Palmetto Health Parkridge Hospital on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Born on October 7, 1958, in Charleston, he was the son of Dorothy Lee Renne and the late John J. Renne. He was a former office equipment technician and a construction worker. Mr. Renne was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, camping and being in the great outdoors.

He is survived in addition to his mother of Chapin by his wife, Tammy Renne; daughters, Jessie (Chad) Shealy of Little Mountain, Amy Renne and fiancée, Blake Ulmer of Irmo; son, John McKinnon Renne of Chapin; his grandchildren, Alana Shealy, Allie Shealy and Kayleigh Ulmer; siblings, Dena (Alan) Harris of Simpsonville and Michael Renne of Chapin, his fur baby, Tasha and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his step-children that he loved as his own, Angie Whitworth McGee, Dustin Pease, Justin Pease, Jessica Whitson and their families.

Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 – 4:00 pm June 7, 2018, at Chapin Fellowship Church, 1632 Chapin Road, Chapin, SC. A memorial service will follow at 4:30 pm with the Rev. Bill Mitchell conducting the service. Memorials may be made to the church.
