Joyce M. Hill

Joyce McCullough Hill, 58, of Whitmire, widow of David Calhoun Hill, died April 28, 2013 at her residence.

Born on July 9, 1954, in Aiken, she was a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Mabel Richardson McCullough. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Joyce loved the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.

She is survived by a daughter, Renee' McDermott and her husband, Tim of Whitmire; a son, Johnathan D. Hill of Whitmire; brothers, Thomas A. McCullough and his wife, Debbie of Moncks Corner, and George L. McCullough of Whitmire; half-sisters, Mary J. Leopard of Cross Hill, Juanita Vanderford, and Gertrude Garland both of Greenwood; her grandson, Benjamin W. McDermott and her beloved dog, Rufus.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 at her residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Tri-County, 13795 C.R. Koon Highway, Newberry, SC 29108.
