Joyce Zeigler

Linda Joyce Collins Zeigler, 75, of Prosperity, widow of Emzie Mack Zeigler, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

Born on February 25, 1943, in Latta, she was a daughter of Allene Shelley Collins and the late B.C. Collins. She was a retired secretary and a devoted caregiver. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Mrs. Zeigler found great joy in helping others when a need arose and was noted for often sharing her baked goods with the many people she helped. She greatly treasured her time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived in addition to her mother, Allene Collins of Newberry by daughters, Patti Branham and husband Bud of Prosperity and Shelley Remion and husband, Todd of Pomaria; sisters, Zip Venters and husband Joel of Georgia and Jackie Hargrove and husband, Bill of Marion; grandchildren, Colby Hunter, Kelsey Braham, Drayton Branham, Caleb Remion and Collins Remion; special nephews, Gabe Hargrove and Joey Venters; brother-in-law, Joe Zeigler and wife, Margaret of White Rock

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, September 7, 2018, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Jason Schafer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 4056 St. Luke's Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
