Julia Ann Bedenbaugh

Julia Ann Stockman Bedenbaugh, 76, of Newberry, died Monday, September 5, 2011, at her residence.

Born on May 27, 1935, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of the late Paul Wendell and Blanche Krell Stockman. Mrs. Bedenbaugh was retired from Damon International and was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Julian Bedenbaugh; daughters, Sandra (Stanley) Lominack of Newberry and Renee (Jimmy) Sligh of Prosperity; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Steve Bedenbaugh; a grandson, Will Lominack and a sister, Frances DeHart.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jason Schafer. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall Fund, 4056 St. Luke’s Church Road, Prosperity, SC 29127.
