Julie Jolly

Julie Ann Wilson Jolly, 76, of Newberry, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on July 21, 1939, in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Otis and Edna Hendrix Wilson. She was retired from the Painters Union and was a member of Enoree Baptist Church.

Ms. Jolly is survived by grandchildren, Tomoka Ward, Jason Jolly and Ryan Jolly; great-grandchildren, Trevor Perkins, Morgan Johnson, Caleb Jolly and Miley Jolly; sisters, Sandra Gilliam, Mae Goff, Lilyan DeRock and June Carson. Ms. Jolly was predeceased by sons, Michael Jolly and Larry Jolly, a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Perkins and brothers, Earl Wilson and Sonny Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, March 10, 2016, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. George Leagan. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:30 – 2:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Newberry County Animal Shelter, 240 Public Works Drive, Newberry, SC 29108 or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1741, Greenwood, SC 29648.

Active pallbearers will be Kenny Siriphong, Ryan Jolly, Jason Jolly, Caleb Jolly, Trever Perkins, Billy Shirey and Bob Shirey.
