Kathleen Turner Honeycutt Driggers, 90, of Newberry, died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on November 7, 1919, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Hall Turner. She was retired from Springs Industries and a member of Newberry Christian Church.
Surviving is her husband, Harvey Driggers; sons, Johnny Honeycutt of Newberry and Willie A. Honeycutt of Waldorf, MD; a daughter, Barbara Hinson of Pawleys Island; step-son, Richard Driggers of Rutherford, NC; step-daughter, Linda Cox of Columbia; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Driggers was predeceased by her first husband, Willie Honeycutt.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home by the Rev. Bill Wheeler. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Newberry Christian Church, 41 Christian Circle, Newberry, SC 29108.
