Kathleen Shealy

Kathleen Frick Shealy, 99, of Prosperity, widow of Eugene Shealy, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on December 17, 1912, in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Wilber Roland Frick and Nina Catherine Riddle Frick. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class and the Young at Heart.

Mrs. Shealy is survived by a sister, Alda Cannon of Little Mountain; a sister-in-law, Nettie Frick of Little Mountain and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, J.E. Frick and Carl Frick.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Zion United Methodist Church by the Rev. Herb Stephens. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 80 Zion Circle, Prosperity, SC 29127.

Active pallbearers will be Ronald Boozer, Brice Cannon, Eldred Frick, Roland Frick, Clint Shealy and Toby Shealy.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Young at Heart and the Lydia Sunday School.
