Kenny Bouknight

Kenneth Edward Bouknight, 61, of Newberry died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Laurens on November 7, 1955, he was a son of the late Marvin E. and Estelle Bedenbaugh Bouknight. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Harris Bouknight; a daughter, Dawn Crowley; a step-daughter, Melissa H. Johnston; a step-son, William David Harris III; a sister, Deborah Stone; brothers Steve Rogers and Denny Jones; grandchildren, April Richardson, Josh Richardson, and Crystal Crowley; step-grandchildren, William David Harris IV, Kelsey Marie Harris, and Madison Emma Harris; 4 great grandchildren; and a special friend, Elaine Wise.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00PM Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Paul Rowe. The family will receive friends after the service. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Newberry County Humane Society.
