Kimberly Marie Hipp, 28, of Pomaria, left for her heavenly home on Monday January 21, 2019 due to injuries received from an automobile accident.
Born on October 3, 1990, she was the daughter of Craig and Tina Livingston Hipp. Kimberly was a Quality Assurance Tech for the Nephron Pharmaceuticals Corporation and was a member of Morris Chapel Southern Methodist Church. She was a 2009 graduate of Mid Carolina High School and a 2014 graduate of Newberry College with a BS in Biology.
Kimberly is survived in addition to her parents by a brother, Michael Hipp of Pomaria and a special friend, Malorie Tummons of Joanna; maternal grandparents, Virgil and Ann Livingston of Pomaria; paternal grandmother, Jeannette Ayers of Prosperity; maternal great-grandmother, Sara Cromer of Newberry; aunts and uncles, Todd and Tammy Livingston of Newberry, Amanda and Johnny Riddle of Little Mountain and Mark and Missy Hipp of Prosperity; extra ordinary cousins, Laken Riddle and Taylor Livingston. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Harman Hipp.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2019 at Morris Chapel Southern Methodist by the Rev. Tony Curcio and Rev. Jonathan Kammerer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Teens Westward Bound c/o Grant Deaton, PO Box 1236, Mooresville, NC 28115 to allow a special teen to enjoy a trip of a lifetime...23 sunrises across our awesome United States of America, a trip that Kimberly enjoyed thoroughly or memorials may be made to Morris Chapel Southern Methodist Church, 1189 New Hope Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.
Active pallbearers will be Wesley Blackburn, Chandlor Williams, Philip Curcio, Patrick Fulmer, Brandon Bowers and Collin Long.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the 3 rd floor at Newberry County Memorial Hospital and co-workers from Nephron Pharmaceuticals.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation for all the visits, calls, words of encouragement and most of all your love and friendship for Kimberly. While many have touched our lives over the past few days during this tragic event we have discovered that over the years she likewise has touched many lives as well. She was a ray of sunshine that always had fun and will be greatly missed by all.
