Kristen Nickel

Kristen Bradfield Nickel, wife of Nate Nickel, of Little Mountain SC passed away Saturday March 29th.

Kristen was the daughter of Kim and Randy Bradfield of Prosperity SC. She was a graduate of Mid Carolina High School (class of 2008). Kristen also graduated from Piedmont Tech in 2012, with a degree in Radiologic Technology. She furthered her career field, and obtained a certificate in MRI. She was currently employed by Lexington Medical Center Irmo and Palmetto Imaging. She also had worked at Newberry Hospital in Radiology. Kristen was a very hard worker and took her job seriously. She was a member of St Jacobs Lutheran, Chapin, SC.

She and Nate just recently moved into their new home and was expecting their first child in August. They enjoyed the outdoors, riding on their boat, and riding their side by side. They enjoyed going to Twittys Mud Bogs and other places to ride.

She was a lifetime member of Carolina Freestyle Dance Team- a huge part of her younger life. She was a member of White Rock Boxing as well, that she really enjoyed!

Surviving are her husband, her parents, brother and sister-in-law Kevin and Leigh Bradfield, nephew and niece, Hayes and Caroline Bradfield, uncle, Darrell Bradfield; cousins Jennifer Walker and her daughter Brooke Walker from Charleston, “adopted mother-in-law” Konni Smith, many extended family and friends, and her “puppies” Colt and Yogi who think she hung the moon!

She was predeceased by paternal grand-parents FP and Marion Bradfield and maternal grand-parents SJ and Grace Ruff and an aunt, Jan Sizemore.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday April 4th, at 2 pm at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church( picnic shelter), 844 Columbia Ave, Chapin SC, 29036. Services will be conducted by Rev. David Nuotilla, Rev. William Hightower and Rev. Dawn Rister. Please dress casually and comfortably and feel free to bring lawn chairs.
