Larry Jolly

Larry D. Jolly, 49, of Newberry, went to “rest in peace” on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at home.

Born on July 28, 1960 in Union, he was the son of R.H. Jolly and Julie W. Jolly. He was a retired painter from local Union 1730 of Augusta, GA who had to retire due to multiple heart problems.

Surviving are his father of Brandon, FL; his mother of Newberry; a son, Ryan D. Jolly; brother, Michael Jolly; maternal grandmother, Edna H. Wilson; aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Reuben and Lucille Jolly; maternal grandfather, Otis W. Wilson and special friend, Mary “Mit” Jones.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. George Leagans. The family will receive friends after the service. Memorials may be made to the Larry Jolly Memorial Fund, 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
