Larry Kinard

Larry “Fuzz” Kinard, 62, of Prosperity, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at his residence.

Born on September 10, 1949, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Colie B. and Kathleen Trammell Kinard. He was a logger and a member of Wightman United Methodist Church.

He is survived by sons, Larry Wayne (Selena) Kinard of Little Mountain, Robert Allen Kinard and Richard Kevin (Johnette) Kinard both of Prosperity; brothers, Colie B. Kinard, Jr. of Prosperity and James E. (Pat) Kinard of Newberry; three grandchildren and a great-grandson. Mr. Kinard was predeceased by a sister, Mary Bowles.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Prosperity Cemetery by the Rev. Michael Turner. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
