Larry Shealy

Larry Eugene Shealy, 77, widower of Sarah A. Shealy, passed peacefully into the loving arms of His Savior on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Lexington Medical Center surrounded by his family. 

Born on January 2, 1948, Mr. Shealy was the son of the late Clarence E. and Ruth A. Shealy. He was retired from Newberry Wrecking & Salvage and attended Faith Assembly of God. 

Mr. Shealy is survived by sisters, Peggy (Joe) Boozer of Prosperity and Cheri S. Malcom of Newberry; brother, Dale (Ann) Shealy of Newberry; nieces, Michelle Long, Kelli (Matt) Crowe and Kristi Shealy (Travis Griffin); nephews, Clay (Jennifer) Shealy and Garrett Malcom; great-nieces, Stephanie (Kris) Spicer, Madison Rivers, Cadie Shealy, Braylen Long, Riley Crowe, Hattie Waddell-Malcom and one on the way, Ellie Spicer; great-nephew, Cooper Crowe. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Shealy was predeceased by a brother, Robert Edward Shealy. 

Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Warren Parker. Interment will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the chapel. Memorials may be made to Faith Assembly of God, 798 Fair Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
