Lendon Earl Weisner, III

Lendon Earl Weisner, III passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at his residence.

Lendon was born in Greenville, SC on December 2, 1950 to Lendon Earl Weisner, Jr. and Bonnie Reba Hawkins Weisner. Lendon was a 1969 graduate of Aiken High School and attended the University of Georgia and Lander College. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Newberry.

Lendon is survived by his parents, of Aiken; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan Weisner Broom and Michael James Broom of Columbia; and a niece, Amy Marie Broom of Columbia; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, George I. and Rilla Epting Hawkins formerly of Prosperity and by his paternal grandparents, Lendon Earl Weisner, Sr. and Anna Toy Weisner formerly of Laurens.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe and Rev. Jerry L. Trantham. Interment will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:30 – 2:00 pm

Active pallbearers will be his cousins.
