Leslie Kennedy McAdams

Leslie Dawn Kennedy McAdams, 39, of Murrells Inlet, died Sunday, May 15, 2010, at her residence.

Born on August 9, 1970, in Greenville, she was a daughter of Larry T. and Donna Riser Kennedy. She was a graduate of Mauldin High School and the College of Charleston. Ms. McAdams was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and Mauldin United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Komatsu of Newberry.

Surviving in addition to her parents, Larry and Donna Kennedy of Leesville, is her son, Ethan Davis McAdams of Murrells Inlet; a sister, Paige Meredith Kennedy of Murrells Inlet and maternal grandmother, Helen Turner Riser of Newberry. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, David M. Riser; her paternal grandparents, Dave Kennedy, Sr. and Mary Rountree Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Chapin United Methodist Church by the Rev. Julian Ford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Helen Beebe, 181 Tailers Trail, Leesville, SC 29070 or to the Susan B.
