Lillie Mae Burnett

Lillie Mae Parnell Burnett, 83, a resident of White Oak Manor, widow of Thomas Wesley Burnett, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on January 16, 1930, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Era Sosebee Parnell. She was a former member of Hunt Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Burnett is survived by daughters, Harriet (Larry) Summer of Newberry and Pam (Dean) Rowe of Prosperity; sisters, Annie Ruth Harris of Anderson and Grace O'Sullivan of Salt Lake City, UT; a brother, James Sears of Anderson; grandchildren, Brian Summer and his wife Stefani, Ashley Cutshall and her husband Mark, Lacy Griffith and her husband Michael, Westley Rowe and his wife Sarah,and Ryan Rowe and his wife Ashley and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Paul Rowe. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Asssociation, 3225 Sunset Blvd, Suite 100, West Columbia, SC 29169.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Summer, Westley Rowe, Ryan Rowe, Mark Cutshall Corban Cutshall and Michael Griffith.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Magnolia unit at White Oak Manor and the 3 ^rd floor staff for their care.
