Linda Corley

Linda Thomas Corley, 64, of Prosperity, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at her residence.

Born on August 23, 1945, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Hurley Edward and Martha Koon Thomas. Mrs. Corley was retired from Wal-Mart, was member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and was very active with the American Cancer Society.

Surviving are her husband, Kenneth D. Corley; a son, J. Edward (Paige) Graham of Pomaria; granddaughters, Taylor Graham, Madison Graham and Harper Graham; aunt, Mary Pinner (Lindsey) Koon; nieces, Kim (David) Lander of Chapin and Kelly (Trey) Outz of Prosperity; great-nieces, April Steele, Erin Outz and Molli Lander. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Barbara T. Knotts.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2009, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church by the Rev. Kathy Harris. Burial will follow in St. Philip’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
