Linda Monroe Epting, 78, of Lexington, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Lexington Medical Center.
Born on November 27, 1942, in Clinton, she was a daughter of the late Claude Bradley and Anna Woodward “Nick” Monroe. She was a Coordinator of Volunteer Services with the state of South Carolina. Mrs. Epting was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church on Broad River Road in Columbia. Her interest included square dancing and she loved having lunch with family and friends. Her two-three mile walks each day were always a great joy to her.
She is survived by a son, Bradley E. (Brooks) Epting of North Myrtle Beach; a daughter, Carla E. (Mike) Hatch of Moseley, VA; grandchildren, Dallas Ryan Crouch, Isabella Hatch and Zachary Hatch and her great-grandchildren, Willow, Eryn, Saylor and Luna. She was predeceased by a sister, Ann Saverance.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Westminister Presbyterian Church, 1715 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29210. Memorials may be made to Families of the Wounded Fund, PO Box 5327, Midlothian, VA 23112-0023.
