Linda Goings Fulmer, 61, of Newberry, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 27, 1950, in Newberry, she was a daughter of Bobbie DeHardt Goings and the late Daniel Benjamin. She was retired from the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office, a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church and was an avid race fan.
Mrs. Fulmer is survived in addition to her mother by her husband, M. Wayne Fulmer; sons, Kevin (Nicole) Fulmer of Little Mountain, Kyle (Rachel) Fulmer of Pomaria and Kory Fulmer of Newberry; a sister, Debbie Trammell of Newberry; a brother, Danny Goings of Prosperity; grandchildren, K.J. Fulmer, Kadyn Fulmer, Heather Nobles and Kyle Fulmer, Jr. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jimmy Counts. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be applied to the funeral expenses c/o McSwain-Evans Funeral Home, 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
