Linda Stewart

Linda Ann Drew Stewart, 71, of Whitmire, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at her residence.

Born on January 8, 1948 in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Harvey Horace and Muriel Dean Drew. She worked for Regal, Fruit of the Loom, and Cone Mills for many years and was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. She was a Meals on Wheels volunteer.

She is survived by her husband,Thomas Wayne Stewart;a brother, Charles Horace Drew, Sr. of Whitmire; nephews, Charles “Chet” Drew, Jr. (Tammy) and Michael Shane Drew both of Whitmire; a great-niece, Nicole (Steven) Fuller; and a great-great-nephew, Caden Fuller.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Bethesda Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Whitmire Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.
