Lisa Marie Ravan

Lisa Marie Winkler Ravan, 53, of Prosperity, died June 6, 2013.

Born on September 16, 1959, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of Gerard J. and Ruth Seybert Winkler. She graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier with the Prosperity Post Office.

She is survived by her parents of Newport News, VA; her husband, Ricky W. Ravan; daughters, Nicole M. (Brian Cassady) Ravan, of Prosperity and Lindsey (Travis) Rackliffe of Irmo; a son, Joseph West of Prosperity; sisters, Denise O'Brien of Seaford, VA, Kimberly Winkler, of Ivor, VA, and Dawn Hafner, of Newport News, VA; a brother, Mark Winkler of Newport News, VA; grandchildren, John Douglass, and Coleman Cassady and Savannah Rackliffe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Paul Rowe. Interment services will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 5:00 - 6:00PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, in memory of Lisa Ravan, 10109 E. 79 ^th Street, Tulsa, OK 71443, Attn: Patient Relations.
