Lois Bedenbaugh

Lois Goff Bedenbaugh, 89, of Joanna, died Monday, February 5, 2018, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born November 8, 1928, in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Pauline Ruff Goff. She was the wife of the late G. Elton Bedenbaugh to whom she was married for 57 years. She was predeceased by her husband and daughter, Cynthia Dell Bedenbaugh. She retired from Greenwood Mills in Joanna and was a lifelong member of Salem Baptist Church in Saluda, SC.

She is survived by a son, Ricky Bedenbaugh (Angie) of Clinton; a brother, Wendell Goff (Monika) of Saluda; a sister-in-law, Virginia Goff of Saluda; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy Bedenbaugh (Amy) of St. Louis, MO, and Brandon Bedenbaugh of the home; 6 great-grandchildren, Zach, Jude, Brantley, Sam, Kharis, and Gage Bedenbaugh.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Salem Baptist Church by the Rev. Jerrod Marshall and Rev. Jeremy Bedenbaugh. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday at the home of Ricky Bedenbaugh at 1160 Greenplain Road in Clinton and from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. Friday before the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 2226 Denny Highway, Saluda, SC 29138.

Active pall bearers will be Brandon Bedenbaugh, Zach Bedenbaugh, Gregory Goff, Derald Morris, Ryan Goff, and Hascal Goff. Honorary pall bearers will be Jude Bedenbaugh, Gage Bedenbaugh, Kason Gardner, Payton Gardner, and Kaleb Cook.
