Lois Dominick

Lois Lake Dominick, 97, of Prosperity, widow of Claude William Dominick, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at her residence.

Born on March 1, 1912, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Orlando and Bessie Nichols Lake. Mrs. Dominick was a 1929 graduate of Silverstreet High School and was the oldest member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son, Claude Lake (Fredna Cook) Dominick of Prosperity; grandchildren, Pam Dominick( Jeff) Bartley of Prosperity and Wayde (Sally) Dominick of Chapin; great-grandchildren, Erica Bartley, Cody Dominick, Tim Dominick, and Caroline Dominick and a devoted caretaker, Andrena Praylow. She was predeceased by a sister, Eoline Boozer and brothers, Edwin Lake, Walter Lake, Clyde Lake and Charles Lake.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2009, at Zion United Methodist Church by Mr. Jimmy Counts. Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 80 Zion Circle, Prosperity, SC 29127.
