Lois L. Wilson

Lois Lever Wilson, 77 of Newberry, died Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on May 16, 1943 in Pomaria, she was the daughter of the late, Capers Maxie and Gladys Lever. She was a member of Enoree Baptist Church where she played the piano and taught Sunday School for many years. She retired from Cone Mills after 43 years of service as the Senior Billing Clerk. She loved to go to yard sales and spending time working in her yard. She found great joy in visiting with shut-ins.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Wilson; a son, Jody Wilson and his wife, Tiffany of Columbia and a brother, William Lever of Pomaria. She was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Lever.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 12, 2020 in Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Those attending are asked to wear masks and adhere to our state's Covid -19 guidelines. Friends and family will be able to come by the funeral home to pay their respects and register on Sunday from 10:00 am until 5:00 PM
