Lory Ann White

Lory Ann Whitman White, 58, of Bryson City, NC, died Tuesday, June 14, 2021, at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville, NC.

Born on December 14, 1962, in Prosperity, she was a daughter of Corrita “Tip” Bundrick Whitman and the late David Lewis Whitman. She was a customer service representative for United Community Bank and a former owner of The Iron Skillet in Bryson City. Mrs. White was a member of Whittier Church of God where she was the youth pastor and youth choir director.

She is survived in addition to her mother, Corritta “Tip” Whitman of Newberry by her husband, Tim White; a daughter, Tiphany Leann White of Bryson City, NC; a son, Jonathan White of Bryson City, NC and a sister, Cathy (Mack) Baker of Sumter.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 18, 2021, at Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry, SC by the Rev. Warren Parker.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Whittier Church of God from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm.
