Lynn Foster

Edith Lynn Busby Foster, 68, of Newberry, died Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Springfield Place.

Born on May 18, 1948, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Auston Hampton and Edith Pearson Busby. She was a seamstress and member of Newberry Church of God.

Mrs. Foster is survived by daughters, Lisa G. Baldridge and Lena G. (Chris) Reynolds both of Newberry and Lori G. (James) Martin of Spartanburg; a sister, Tammy B. (Keith) Harmon of Newberry; a brother, Jerry A. (Candy) Busby of Newberry; a step-son, Jared Foster, step-daughters, Darlene (Tony) Sheppard and Dianne (Jimmy) Miller ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Foster was predeceased by her husband, Sanford Daryl Foster on March 19, 2017 and two grandsons.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:30 pm Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Newberry Church of God. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Michael Davis. Memorials may be made to the Newberry Church of God, 2693 College Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
